Donor Privacy Policy
Our donors make this work possible. Protecting their trust is not optional.
Our commitment
Sons & Daughters Foundation will never sell, rent, trade, or share our donors' personal information with any other organization for their use. Period.
What we collect and why
When you give, we collect only what we need to process your gift, send you a receipt and acknowledgment, and keep accurate financial records: typically your name, contact information, gift amount, date, and any designation or dedication you choose.
How donor information is used
Donor information is used solely for donation processing, receipts and acknowledgments, required financial recordkeeping, and, if you have opted in, updates about our work. Access is limited to the people who need it to carry out those duties.
Anonymity
You may request that your gift remain anonymous in any public recognition, and we will honor that request. Tell us in your Zelle memo, your receipt email, or any message to us.
Payment security
We do not store credit card or bank account details on this website. Zelle transfers happen entirely within your own banking app. When online card giving launches, payments will be processed by an established, PCI-compliant giving platform.
Receipts and tax records
SDF provides written acknowledgment for gifts, suitable for your tax records. SDF is a 501(c)(3) organization; our EIN is 41-2745272. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
