Holiday 2026 · Casa Pacifica Dove Wishes

This Christmas, we’re fulfilling 100 wishes for Casa Pacifica youth.

Every holiday season, each young person at Casa Pacifica writes five wishes on a red dove ornament: three wants, like shoes or headphones, and two needs, like bedding or personal care. Each dove carries a first name and an age. Fulfill the wish, and that gift is opened on Christmas morning by the exact young person who asked for it.

Sons & Daughters Foundation has pledged to fulfill 100 doves. The volunteers of She Rises Collective will shop the wishes, sort the gifts, and deliver them unwrapped to Casa Pacifica’s Camarillo campus. When you give, you put your name behind a child’s wish.

How It Works

Three ways to help fill 100 doves.

Casa Pacifica cares for children and young adults across Ventura County, and its Dove Wishes program has one rule we love: the gift goes to the young person who asked for it, unwrapped, so their caregivers can wrap it with them in mind.

Give

Sponsor a dove

Give toward a dove with Zelle or PayPal and note Dove in the memo. Any amount helps; sponsoring a whole dove covers one young person’s wants and needs, and our volunteers do the shopping.

Take a dove yourself

Families, friend groups, and businesses can take one dove or several. We match you with a wish, you buy the gift, and you bring it to us unwrapped. Gift cards are welcome too, in a separate envelope.

Shop, sort, and deliver

In December our volunteers shop the remaining wishes, check every gift against its dove, and deliver the whole set to Casa Pacifica’s Camarillo campus. Join them for a day.

Our Mission

A community that shows up.

Sons & Daughters Foundation exists so that children, young people, and families never have to navigate difficult seasons alone. We build practical pathways of support through community partnerships, direct assistance, mentorship, education, and opportunities that help people rise.

01

Dignity

Every person we serve is met with respect. Support is offered alongside people, never over them.

02

Community

Lasting change is local. We connect neighbors, organizations, and businesses who care about the same kids.

03

Opportunity

Practical resources open real doors: school supplies today, mentorship and education over time.

04

Responsible Stewardship

Every dollar and donated item is treated as a trust, with transparency built into how we operate.

Our Programs

One foundation. Focused programs.

SDF is built as an umbrella organization: each program serves a specific community with focus and care, while the foundation provides the governance and stewardship behind all of them.

She Rises Collective, our first active program, is a community-centered women's initiative creating spaces for connection, personal growth, mentorship, service and opportunity — and it's leading the back-to-school drive right now. More programs are being explored for the seasons ahead.
